Member Profile
AEM is the consolidation of the Equipment Manufacturers Institute and the Construction Industry Manufacturers
Association effective January 1, 2002. Its role is to provide trade association services on a global basis for
companies that manufacture equipment, products and services used worldwide in: agricultural, construction, forestry, mining, and utility industries.
AEM member companies manufacture a wide variety of equipment, from large earthmovers and agricultural equipment to
small hand-held, portable and walk-behind machinery - designed to handle a myriad of specialized tasks.
AEM member companies also manufacture a variety of components used by other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) -
everything from engines, transmissions and hydraulic pumps to electronic controls, gauges and lubricants.
In addition, some AEM members provide services to these dynamic industries, including equipment financing, trade
magazines, equipment auctions and consulting services.
AEM offers three types of membership
AEM membership level is determined by company product(s)/service(s). Each membership level has a corresponding dues rate structure based on sales to the AEM markets.
