groups:
Bringing together peers and competitors allows manufacturers of product-specific
equipment to discuss related industry topics and issues on environmental
safety and operation, statistics, technical standards and government.
All the companies together are a powerful voice in dialog and interaction
with distributors as well as other customer groups in the construction
equipment market channel.
Bringing peers and competitors together in a forum which allows them
to:
- Address common industry issues
- Discuss unified industry responses to government regulatory requirements
- Combine their experience and synergies to positively impact product
safety
- Establish useful product group statistics reporting programs
- Participate in efforts to harmonize national and international standards
- Interact and communicate with both supplier and customer groups
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers currently has 36 product-specific
groups covering 225 product lines designed to aid companies which manufacture
and market similar equipment so that they can work together on issues
of mutual interest and formulate industry-wide courses of action. There
are no fees to full members for group participation.
