Mission

To add value to AEM and enhance and leverage Associate member opportunities for:

• Networking
• Knowledge Transfer
• Industry Input
• Involvement with AEM services.

Primary Function

The Associate Member Group provides a forum where active and associate member companies can identify and evaluate business issues and concerns that impact their respective industries. These issues and concerns are then reviewed and resolved by the council.

Council Activities

Annual Convention Coordination, Planning and Support
The establishment of committees responsible for the activities of the annual convention and meeting the needs of the convention chairman.

Education
To provide educational opportunities for active and associate members which broadens the scope of their knowledge and skills to effectively improve proficiency and lower costs in their businesses. To create an atmosphere that promotes a mutual desire to work together on a cooperative basis.

Emerging Issues
To address emerging issues of common concern and direct activities to investigate and recommend action.

AEM Liaison
To act as an AEM liaison with other councils and committees, particularly those relating to legislation, statistics, engineering, safety and product reliability.
