Mission

The Construction Equipment Group was developed as a committee to review Construction related issues and for the committee to recommend utilization of the AEM reserves for industry investments. It is also evident that construction related issues need extended dialogue and solutions, such as AEM’s contributions to ARTBA and the Model Dealer laws, and these issues should be given a home for proper discussion prior to the presentation to the Board of Directors.

Primary Function

To address construction-related issues and recommend utilization of AEM funds for industry investments.

Council Activities

Exploring and developing programs on issues such as operator training and used equipment redistribution, collaborating with and supporting other organizations like ARTBA, AGC, and TRIP as well as reviewing non-lobbying appropriations and initiatives, and providing members with updates on laws and infrastructure developments.
