The primary functions of AEM's Global Public Policy Committee are to direct Governmental Relations Programs and make
budget and appropriations recommendations to AEM's Board of Directors.
Council Activities
The Global Public Policy Committee focuses on key legislative and governmental issues of interest to AEM members,
including:
All matters pertaining to "infrastructure" funding
Legislation affecting demand for agricultural machines and equipment
Trade issues that have an impact on market access
State legislative initiatives that impact the contractual relationship(s) between manufacturers and dealer/distributors
Environment, especially clean air and clean water
Product liability tort reform -- both federal and state
