Product Focus
AEM's Industrial/Agricultural Mower Manufacturers Council (IAMMC) is comprised of manufacturers of disc mowers, drum
mowers, flail mowers, rotary mowers, windrowers and sickle bar mowers and is supported by manufacturers of mower
blades and cutter bars.
Mission
The IAMMC, an international group of manufacturers of industrial and agricultural mowers, focuses on a variety of
national/international standards, safety related programs and liaisons with several regulatory agencies.
Council Activities & Accomplishments
- Development of a "best practices" training video for mowing
- Leadership in the development of industry standards for mowers
- Publishing of the AEM Industrial/Agricultural Mower Safety Manual
- Publishing of the AEM Agricultural Disk Mower Safety Manual
History
Originally formed under the Industrial & Construction Equipment Division (ICED) of FIEI, the council was
established as the IAMMC in April 1981.
