Mission
To promote and further the interests of the Rubber Tired Tractor Backhoe Loader Council on issues related to safety, standards and regulations, statistics and market data, education, public policy and the improvement of the overall industry's image.

Current Activities

• Developed generic industry and company specific safety videos for backhoe loaders
• Monitor SAE standards process as it impacts member company products
• Interface with One-Call International on its "Call Before You Dig Program"

Accomplishments

• Began industry statistical program for council products
• Developed and maintained OEM/AEM reference manual for members
• Developed industry specifications and definitions dictionary
• Developed generic industry safety manual

History
Originated in 1966 as the Industrial Loader and Backhoe Committee. Adopted current name in 1989.
