Product Focus
Agricultural field tools and machinery which are designed to lift
and invert soil, stir or pack soil, or reduce size of clods and controls weeds, i.e., plows, harrows, disks,
cultivators, etc., principally used in crop production. Crop production equipment designed to place seed in or on the
soil and promote optimum plant growth, i.e., planters, drills, distributors and sprayers.
Mission
To promote and further the interests of the Tillage and Crop Production
Equipment Council on issues related to safety, standards and regulations, statistics and market data, education,
public policy and the improvement of the overall industry's image.
History
Originated in 1911 as the Plow & Tillage Equipment Department.
Adopted current name in 1982.
