Mission
To promote and further the interests of the Trencher Equipment Committee on issues related to safety, standards and regulations, statistics and market data, education, public policy, and enhancement of the industry's stature.

Committee Activities & Accomplishments

• Developed an AEM Safety Manual for trenchers
• Continues development of product safety materials relating to trencher equipment
• Reviews and develops industry positions on standards and regulations affecting trencher equipment

History
Originated in 1974 as the Underground Equipment Council. Changed name to the Trencher Equipment Council in 1994, and became a standing committee of the Underground Equipment Manufacturers Council in 2005.
