History
Established in June 2001 as the Vacuum Excavation Equipment Manufacturers Council, and became a standing committee of the Underground Equipment Manufacturers Council in 2005.
Publications
Safety Manual
 The VEEC has developed a 35-page industry safety manual for vacuum excavator operating and maintenance personnel. The manual covers various subjects including preparation for operation, working safety, shutting down and loading/unloading, and safety practices during maintenance.
