Four-Wheelin' (Sunday)
The ultimate way to see the Sonoran Desert is by jeep. Learn about the natural habitat and Indian legends of the desert. Board the vehicles at the hotel, sit back and enjoy hours of desert beauty. The trip includes a nature walk in the desert where you'll also learn how Native Americans used the desert plant life for thousands of years for food, medicine, tools and raw materials. Depart 10 a.m., return 2 p.m. Cost $95.00. Includes jeeps, guide, water. Eat before the trip.

Southwest Cooking (Monday)
Southwestern cooking has its own special flavors and techniques. Steps away from the hotel is Sur la Table, a gourmet cooking store. Here, you'll watch as a culinary team prepares southwestern specialties. Afterwards, try your hand at cooking...then sit down to share the meal. Depart 10 a.m., return 1 p.m. Cost $85. Includes group walk to the store, all ingredients and the meal.

Heard Museum & Desert Botanical Garden (Monday)
These two unique visitor attractions provide informative insight into the diversity of the land and the resourcefulness of its Native people. The first stop is the Heard Museum, the Native American Cultural Center of the Southwest--home to 100,000 artifacts and one of Scottsdale's finest gift shops of native crafts. The second stop is the botanical garden featuring over 15,000 desert plants. Enjoy a light lunch of salad and a glass of wine or lemonade. Depart 10 a.m., return 2 p.m. Cost $85. Includes transportation, two docent tours, free time to shop and light lunch.
