Product Liability Seminar
April 30, 2009
Hilton Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA
The 2009 seminar will open with a session entitled "Litigation 101 – A Primer on the Litigation Process". It will be followed by topics such as the preparation for and participation in your deposition and working with your trial lawyer – with perspectives from a corporate attorney. The seminar will close with a very provocative but important session, "Subsequent Remedial Measures – Can Design Changes Incriminate Your Existing Products?" This session will look at the impact of decisions to change a safe product to make it safer. This seminar is particularly valuable to the product safety professional who may be called upon to support trial counsel in products litigation as well as manufacturers who do not have the benefit of dedicated claims staff.
This popular, once-a-year education offering runs from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm immediately after AEM's Product Safety & Compliance Seminar.
