Annual Conference 2001
Game On - It's Your Move
Business can be like a game. There are winners and losers. A player needs to make the right moves.
CIMA has designed its annual conference 2001 to give members the strategic-information "clues" they need to move their companies quickly and successfully to the finish line of streamlined operational efficiencies and increased profitability.
The Game Board
Enjoy the ambiance of the conference hotel, an elegant four-star four-diamond resort on the Gulf of Mexico, and explore the natural beauty of southwest Florida. The hotel is alongside a 200-acre mangrove preserve and a half hour from Everglade National Park.
Getting there: The Registry is 15 minutes from Naples Airport. Other options are flying into Fort Myers (a 35-minute drive) or Ft. Lauderdale (a 1 1/2 -hour drive).
Industry Strategy Guide
CIMA's annual conferences are known for their combination of industry-targeted, business-planning presentations and unique and fun networking opportunities.
The working business agenda includes:
- The Age of Access-New Thinking for New Leaders
- The Global Game of Linking People and Profits
- What the Money Says About the Future
- Image Learning for Efficiency
- Today's Investment Game
- Hot Companies, Cool (Culture) Ideas
- Today's Sales Force - A Solution(s) Game
- The Games Your CUSTOMERS Want to Play
Customer Benchmarking
For more value-added for attendees, the conference will also reveal results of benchmarking studies CIMA is conducting among thousands of construction equipment customers on how they do business and what they want and need from manufacturers-to help CIMA members in their business planning. (see Customer Profile Surveys.)
The conference will also feature CIMA's computerized Immediate Response System, which collects and tallies attendees' anonymous opinions on trends, to provide attendees with instaneous benchmarking data.
Full details will be posted on the CIMAnet website here.
