Exhibit space sales are progressing for CIMA's two pavilions targeting the Asian marketplace this year.
The Association will have a presence at BICES in China in October and BAUCON Asia in November in Singapore. Both are held every two years.
Growth has been spurred by increasing use of the new CIMA pavilion program subsidy, which provides even more cost-effective options for Full CIMA members, notes CIMA's Megan Bufton.
Pavilion Subsidy Program
For any CIMA pavilion in 2002, all full Association members are eligible to obtain a discount on exhibit space, a feature designed to help level the playing field for U.S. companies against overseas firms which may receive government support to participate in shows.
CIMA's China office, with its proximity to the shows, is also playing a major role and is of significant help with coordination of pavilion details with exposition organizers.
