BAUMA 2001 Munich
Pavilion a Sell-Out!
CIMA's international exhibits pavilion at BAUMA was a sell-out with 67 companies using 1,007 net square meters of indoor and outdoor space (10,840 net s.f.).
This was the largest BAUMA on record, with more than 390,000 visitors from 152 countries across worldwide.
Sales and Marketing Goals Met
A post show pavilion exhibitor survey indicated that by an overwhelming response (97%), exhibitors felt they had met their sales and marketing goals for show participation.
These included: market exposure, direct sales, obtaining dealers, and joint venture opportunities.
Some 93% were satisfied with their BAUMA experience, and 98% were pleased with their participation in the CIMA pavilion.
The availability of a CIMA pavilion influenced the decision of many companies to utilize BAUMA as an exhibit opportunity. Only 6 percent said they would have exhibited at the Show even if there was no pavilion available.
Assistance Lauded
Exhibitors in the survey gave a unanimous 100% "thumbs up" to the assistance they received from CIMA staff at the pavilion.
"CIMA staff is dedicated to providing the logistical support needed for a seamless exhibit presence so companies can concentrate on their main objectives of customer contact," noted CIMA's Sabrina Skopp.
