Congressional Directory Available
CIMA has produced a directory of the 107th Congress and distributed it to all member companies as part of a continuing effort to promote
grassroots activism on industry specific issues.
In a letter to the Association's membership, CIMA Chairman Robert Fien called the directory "an essential tool" for initiating
and maintaining effective communications with elected officials. CIMA also distributed the directory to other construction industry
groups with which it works to present a unified front to advance the industry's legislative priorities.
Hints for Plant Tours
The directory includes a listing of CIMA's legislative priorities and provides tips for hosting a plant tour for elected officials.
"CIMA's directory of the 107th Congress will be especially useful to members as elected officials take on important environmental
issues, trade policy, tax reform, infrastructure investment, and protecting the landmark provisions of TEA-21 transportation
legislation," stated CIMA's Nick Yaksich.
