CONEXPO-CON/AGG
SAE Off-Highway Congress Technical Sessions Co-Locate With Shows
For the first time ever, an agreement has been reached by Show Management and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to co-locate the SAE International Off-Highway Congress at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2002 and IFPE 2002. SAE will not be holding the exhibits portion of its Congress. IFPE 2002 and CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2002 will serve as the exhibits for SAE delegates.
Complements Strength of Educational Component
The SAE Congress technical sessions will be coordinated with the IFPE Technical Conference. Presentations with a power transmission focus will be jointly sponsored by the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA), IFPE co-owner, and SAE.
Together these events will serve as an unprecedented educational opportunity for the power transmission and off-highway engineering community.
In addition to the IFPE Technical Conference and SAE Off-Highway Congress technical sessions, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2002 also has a strong educational component, with more than 120 sessions scheduled on industry-specific issues and trends, information technology, management and personal development.
Prestigious IFPE Event
IFPE's prestigious Technical Conference will feature presentations and research papers focusing on three key segments:
- Research and design
- Applications
- Hydraulic Fluids
The Technical Conference will feature presenters from Europe, Asia and North and South America discussing the latest research and application information.
Papers will cover the latest developments in areas including motion control, simulation, reliability, filtration / contamination control and other power transmission topics. The IFPE Technical Conference will once again feature the Hydraulics Fluids Symposium. Symposium topics will include biodegradable fluids, fire resistant fluids, fluid and component testing and additives.
More Educational Opportunities
The Milwaukee School of Engineering will also present six seminars covering key areas of hydraulic system design, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Of particular interest to design and application personnel will be sessions on basic hydraulic components, hydraulic system design and application, components in electrohydraulic systems and electrohydraulic systems and controls.
There will also be a Pneumatic Specialist Certification Program conducted by the Fluid Power Society, as well as certification programs offered by AiME, the Association of International Motion Engineers.
