Product Safety Seminar
Popular mock trial feature returns
Providing an industry-wide forum for construction equipment safety and liability issues is the aim of CIMA's annual product safety seminar August 5-7 at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
"What is Your Weakest Link?" is the theme of this year's seminar, which will feature the return of the extremely popular product liability mock trial. This year's mock trial will be held in a courtroom at the Milwaukee County Courthouse and feature actual litigation involving a scraper and interactive audience polling.
Expert speakers will also offer strategies and advice on design and liability issues of guarding, interlocks, and emergency stops. In addition, the seminar will feature presentations on controlling liability for rental equipment, ergonomics, online training, and service report communications.
