Sneak Preview: CIMA Booth
CIMA's booth at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2002 will be dedicated to the history and future of construction, to showcase the scope and importance of the machinery that built America and the world. The booth will also spotlight the many member and industry value added services of the Association.
CIMA will use its booth and the history exhibit as part of its ongoing industry-promotion efforts to position the future construction industry as a rewarding career choice.
Equipment Video and Display
A video on the history of construction is also planned and will be an interactive feature of the CIMA both for attendees. CIMA is also working with the Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) to produce an educational display of antique construction equipment at the Show.
"We hope to educate those unfamiliar with the industry as well as restore a sense of pride in others regarding the scope of the industry and its many contributions," stated CIMA's Nicole Ketchman.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The CIMA booth will feature a series of curio cabinets in a walk-through display of pictures, models and other memorabilia from the past. The Association is asking members to check their company archives and participate with company history and photos as well as old equipment.
(Companies do not have to sponsor to submit materials.)
The Association is offering companies two types of sponsorship opportunities:
(1) CIMA companies are eligible to sponsor a portion of a curio cabinet and receive prominent mention of company name, logo and Show booth number.
(2) Companies can also sponsor a portion of the historical construction equipment display at the Show (which is also the site of the sponsoring associations' pre-opening reception). A company may display a piece of equipment or assist with transport/display costs of equipment from HCEA with prominent signage of company name.
