Product Support Seminar
CIMA's annual product support seminar will be held September 23-26 at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, NC.
"We termed these seminars "The Great Exchange" to emphasize the most important aspect of the sessions, which is the opportunity to join with and learn from industry peers," stated CIMA's Al Cervero.
The seminar location is home to Lowe's Motor Speedway of NASCAR stock car racing fame, and activities planned include a tour of a Winston Cup team garage and keynote by J. D. Gibbs.
"It's often said that a race is 'won in the pits,' with split-second teamwork. Product support teamwork is vital to a successful company winning the profitability and customer satisfaction race," stated Cervero.
Other topic areas under development include training aids and issues, used equipment service, parts selling, call centers, bar coding, e-commerce related parts marketing and channel management issues.
