Agriculture Flash Reports
Timely data on tractor, combine sales
The data in
the flash reports represent most of the manufacturers in each product category being sold at U.S. retail. |

AEM provides Agriculture Flash Reports which compare monthly data from the current and past year for U.S. unit retail sales of two- and four-wheel-drive tractors and self-propelled combines.
Data shown on the reports are aggregated estimates by companies of the previous month’s sales for tractors and combines, which are subject to revisions when final detail data become available. The data represents most, but not all, of the manufacturers in each product category being sold at retail in the U.S.
Monthly Reports Popular
The reports are released around the 10th day of each month – first to participating companies and subscribers, and then are available for viewing on the AEM website to all members and the public approximately 24 to 48 hours afterwards.
“This report is very popular, and is anxiously awaited each month by participating members and their top executives,” noted AEM’s Jeff Arnold, Director of Statistics Administration.
Canadian Data
A similar monthly Canadian Ag Flash Report is available at no charge from an AEM “sister” association - the Canadian Farm and Industrial Equipment Institute (CFIEI) – check the website at www.cfiei.ca.
Those who do not wish to wait for the data to be posted to the website may receive a personalized fax or e-mail for only $100 per year for the U.S. Flash reports, or $150 per year for both the U.S. and Canadian reports.
