The Associations Chinese language construction equipment Web portal is now online, helping equipment manufacturers connect with Chinese equipment buyers.
The first website of its kind in the Chinese market, CM-1.com is designed to take the Associations efforts to another level to help its members build relationships with Chinese distributors, key contractors, and government officials.

One important feature of the new AEM Chinese website is a product locator that already contains information on more than 100 North American manufacturers, with companies and content being added all the time.
AEM member manufacturers can upload brochures, spec sheets and their product and service information to e-booths, providing Chinese equipment buyers with an unprecedented depth of information.
This service is free to members.
The site also offers an event calendar and industry news from four of Chinas major construction industry publications.
The site provides information in English, but the main intent of the site is to provide Chinese-language information.
Right Place at Right Time
Between infrastructure plans, which include new highways, railways and gas pipelines, plus a large number of facility and infrastructure projects for the 2008 Olympics, the demand for modern construction equipment and techniques should rise to unprecedented levels in the years ahead, noted AEMs Chuck Frey, who directs the Associations online activities.
With the CM-1.com website, AEM is in the right place at the right time to help members capitalize on sales opportunities in the worlds fastest growing market for construction equipment.
