AEM Hosts International Agricultural Safety, Standards Meetings
AEM recently hosted agricultural industry related meetings in Chicago. Several ISO/TC 23 subcommittees met and the week was culminated by a Joint Ag Technical Liaison meeting. This group is composed of industry representatives from AEM's agricultural equipment manufacturing sector and from CEMA (the European Association of the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, the umbrella European trade association representing 4,500 companies from 14 countries).
This was a unique opportunity for the two groups to exchange ideas, discuss items of mutual interest, and work towards consensus on common goals and strategies concerning standards, regulatory and other activities that impact members worldwide.
