AEM Online
Comprehensive association, industry content offered
AEM is online www.aem.org - to provide its members and other site visitors with the latest industry and Association news, serving as a one-stop information resource for the construction and agriculture equipment industry.
The site will retain the services and content of AEMs predecessor organizations, so all members can continue to access the full scope of material available previous to the AEM consolidation.
AEM will also expand the content of the site to ensure it continues to maintain greatest value.
The AEM website will feature a high degree of usability, designed to meet the informational needs of members and others with as few mouse clicks as possible.
AEM is operating an interim site in the early months of 2002, containing information on the new association and its scope, leadership and contact data.
Membership information, news releases, and an Association events calendar are also on the site.
The interim site also features links to the Associations existing online resources from its predecessors, to provide all the functionality its members have come to expect while a new, permanent site is developed.

A permanent site that integrates all of the information and services from both of the Associations existing websites will be launched in early to mid 2002.
The Associations Strategic Information Services staff is using member feedback about existing online resources to help determine how features, information and services are shaped into the framework of the permanent site.
The permanent AEM website will feature the largest collection of information and resources for equipment manufacturers on the Web, including the latest news, statistical, technical, trade, regulatory, product safety, and legislative issues and trends, all presented in an easy to use format.
Specific services will include an industry news service, topic-specific resource centers, industry outlook reports and shipment indexes, a variety of databases and directories, public policy reports, newsletters, standards information, and online collaboration for technical committees.
