PICA “Measures of Success” Marketing Awards Program Open

The PICA awards program is open to all construction equipment manufacturers and construction equipment services providers who are AEM members or eligible for AEM membership, as well as agencies with these companies as clients.

Following a successful inaugural program last year, PICA announces the second edition of its “Measures of Success” marketing awards program.

Entries are now being accepted for AEM’s Publications in Construction Association (PICA) “Measures of Success” awards program, which recognizes outstanding marketing communications efforts of construction equipment manufacturers and construction equipment services providers.

The AEM bureau initiated the program not just to honor excellence in construction equipment marketing communications, but to use the awards as an educational vehicle to spotlight effective marketing communications efforts.

The awards also serve to elevate the role of marketing communications within companies by showcasing “best practices” to a larger audience.

The PICA awards program is open to all construction equipment manufacturers and construction equipment services providers who are AEM members or eligible for AEM membership, as well as agencies with these companies as clients.

This edition of the PICA Measures of Success awards program will cover material disseminated in calendar year 2001 and first-quarter 2002.

The deadline to enter company materials is June 2, 2002.

Awards will be presented at the September meeting of the AEM Marketing Communications Council (MCC) in Santa Fe, NM.

Award Categories

This edition of the PICA Measures of Success awards program will cover material disseminated
in calendar year 2001 and first-quarter 2002.

The PICA awards program for 2001 and first-quarter 2002 will recognize outstanding marketing communications efforts in the following areas:

  • Product Literature (single piece or multiple pieces as part of a series)
  • Direct Mail (single piece)
  • Direct Mail (campaign of 2 or more pieces)
  • Magazine Ads (fractional)
  • Magazine Ads (single)
  • Magazine Ads (series)
  • Press Kits

The PICA program also includes a Public Relations Person of the Year award, in which trade editors select an industry representative who exemplifies outstanding trade media relations skills.
