Sprayer manufacturers address regulatory concerns
AEM member sprayer manufacturers are considering formation of a new product group to address a recent Federal proposal calling for spray and dust drift restrictions on pesticide products for outdoor applications ranging from agricultural crops to lawns and home gardens.
The proposal addresses items that could impact product design such as placement of nozzles, spray quality or droplet size and application height.
The group is targeting a Summer 2002 meeting date. For more information, contact AEM’s Darrin Drollinger at 312-321-1470.
