Online portal provides 24/7 access to AEM, industry data
 This year AEM redesigned its website home page to make it easier for members to access the most frequently used site resources.
The association also expanded its online industry news service to better reflect AEM’s broader scope of membership. This Consolidated Industry News Network (CINN) article database has 30 searchable categories so members can easily find the latest news of most interest to them. The association updates these categories to reflect current member interests; examples include new “trade barriers” and “agriculture news and trends” subsets. Online International Marketing Resources
AEM in 2003 initiated an online international project database that tracks a project’s development stage and size of investment needed for completion.
The association also entered a cooperative agreement to link AEM’s member-company product locator with Business News Americas, a highly respected multilingual news service covering Latin America and the Caribbean.
The association’s Chinese-language website (www.CM-1.com), which spotlights member products to the Chinese equipment marketplace, marked its first year online in 2003, with steady increases in the amount of visitor traffic and informational content – including “eBooths” that provide Chinese equipment buyers with detailed information about AEM members doing business in China.
