CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005 & IFPE 2005

New, expanded online marketing tools link exhibitors and attendees

LaptopExhibitors at the 2005 CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2005 will have access to electronic marketing tools to help them more easily connect with their customers before and after the shows.

An expanded version of the online “Virtual Trade Show” (VTS) and a new e-mail marketing service will be featured on the shows’ websites (www.conexpoconagg.com and www.ifpe.com).

Customized E-mail Marketing Messages

Exhibitors can send customized e-mail messages to their end-users, prospects and distribution channel partners using the shows’ new e-mail service. The e-mail format helps companies promote awareness of their exhibit presence by combining their marketing messages with a show template (design, name and logo) for immediate recognition.

Exhibitors control the distribution lists for and content of these messages. Companies can target specific customer segments with different messages, taking advantage of the flexibility of e-mail marketing technology.

VTS: More Options Available

The shows’ online “Virtual Trade Show” (VTS) features exhibitor information searchable by company name, booth number or product category. It also includes an itinerary planner to help attendees select pre-show who they will meet with and what they want to see when they arrive onsite.

For 2005, the shows have expanded the content in the standard VTS e-booth listing provided to all exhibitors at no charge. Exhibitors can now list (in addition to company name, booth location, and contact information) a company logo, brief corporate description, and e-mail/ website URL link.

An upgraded “product showcase” e-booth option is available and includes additional opportunities for exhibitors to promote their company and products. With the upgrade, exhibitors can track e-booth traffic, capture sales leads/ inquiries and schedule appointments with show attendees.

An added bonus of the upgrade: participating exhibitors will be included in a special “Featured E-Booth” section on the home pages of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE websites.
