AEM President Dennis Slater welcomes members and industry friends during the official launch of AEM Canada in Toronto, ON.
AEM Canada is now up and running. The association’s Canadian office was officially launched earlier this year during special ceremonies at the Canadian International Farm Equipment Show (CIFES).
Initial activities include meeting with Canadian customer groups and other business organizations as the association develops its strategy to address provincial and national trade, legislative and regulatory issues.
AEM is also developing a membership campaign targeting Canadian equipment manufacturers.
The latest information on AEM Canada is disseminated through monthly Advisor Canada news updates as well as posted on www.aem.org (see the “AEM Canada” click-through on upper right of the home page).
AEM Canada was formed January 1, 2004 through the incorporation, at its request, of the Canadian Farm and Industrial Equipment Institute (CFIEI). The office’s operations are overseen by a newly-formed Canadian Equipment Council, which will provide policy recommendations to the AEM Board of Directors and direct the association’s Canadian-focused initiatives.
