The place to be in November: AEM Annual Conference
Engage: Answer the Call
November 7-9, 2004
Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, FL
The 2004 edition of AEM’s annual conference of member companies will feature an interactive format and breakout sessions to maximize the exchange of ideas between speakers and attendees.
The conference theme, “Engage: Answer the Call,” reflects the aim of the educational programming: the thought-provoking ideas and views of speakers and peers will “engage” attendees and provide the business “ammunition” to “answer the call” and defend their companies against economic, political and social challenges.
Interactive “challenge sessions” after each education presentation, facilitated by a professional moderator, will allow attendees to more fully explore the real-world issues examined by the conference speakers.
A series of breakout sessions will further the indepth interchange of ideas. Each attendee will receive a transcript of the breakout sessions as an additional value-added benefit.
The annual conference is the equipment manufacturing industry’s yearly gathering of company presidents, chairmen and senior marketing and sales management executives.
About Amelia Island
The conference location, Amelia Island, is a secluded barrier island off the northeast Florida coast, 25 minutes away from the Jacksonville, FL International Airport.
Amelia Island has a long and storied history – it’s the only U.S. location that has been under eight different flags. First visited by the French more than 400 years ago, it was developed by the Spanish, named by England and built up by the U.S.
The conference hotel, the Ritz Carlton, is rated #11 by Conde Nast Traveler magazine readers for “best resorts in North America,” and Traveler and Leisure magazine readers rate it #31 for the World’s Best Hotels and #9 for Best Family Hotel in North America.
The Ritz is 10 minutes away from historic Fernandina Beach, a charming seaside village of Victorian homes, boutiques, art galleries and antique stores, and 20 minutes south of the Georgia border and the Cumberland Island National Seashore.
