Product safety
seminar a success
 AEM’s annual product safety seminar attracted a record crowd of 160 industry professionals, drew rave reviews from attendees and continued the association’s longstanding tradition of providing a forum for off-road product safety experts to share industry best practices with their peers.
Keynote speaker for the two-day session was AEM Chairman Ronald DeFeo (Terex Corp.), who offered an executive perspective on the importance of product safety programs.
New Liability Seminar Held
A new, one-day program which focused on product liability followed the product safety seminar and was also very well received. Both events were held in February in Chicago, IL.
The AEM liability seminar offered attendees a primer on the general litigation process: what to expect and what manufacturers need to do to be “good clients.” The program was developed and presented by leading litigation attorneys.
Attendee focus: product safety and risk managers, design engineers and technical managers.
