Promoting workforce development
 The ConstructMyFuture.com construction-careers website which AEM
co-developed has earned an industry “pride award” from the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) in recognition
of the website’s “extraordinary efforts to enhance the image of the U.S. transportation construction industry.”
ConstructMyFuture.com was one of seven companies, associations and government groups nationwide who were commended for their educational/public relations efforts. An independent panel of public relations agency professionals and construction industry journalists selected the winners.
AEM initiated the site in 2001 with the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF) and Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) to promote construction as a rewarding career choice. The site targets students age 15-19 as well as their teachers, high school counselors and parents and provides a variety of information and links to other resources.
ConstructMyFuture has generated more than 200,000 user sessions since its formation in 2001.
