In Memoriam: Bill Templeton
It is with deepest regret that AEM informs members of the recent death of L.W. "Bill" Templeton, who chaired one of AEM's predecessor groups.
Bill died March 28, 2004 in San Clemente, California. He had suffered from serious complications from surgery he underwent 2½ years ago.
Bill was an active member in the Farm and Industrial Equipment Institute and Equipment Manufacturers Institute. He served on the FIEI Board of Directors from 1981-1989 and as President of FIEI's Farm Equipment Division in 1988-1989.
His career spanned 50 years in domestic and international sales of farm, construction and industrial equipment as well as consumer products, and included management positions with Ford, Kubota, Deutz-Allis and TISCO.
