Successful Farming is expanding its role as supporter and sponsor in AEM’s 2013 AG CONNECT Expo & Summit. The media group has also renewed its commitment to the AG CONNECT Center Stage. In addition, Successful Farming has created a new Family Business education track.
AG CONNECT Expo & Summit is the international agricultural event scheduled for January 29-31, 2013 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The show offers a preview of coming developments in agriculture through new technologies, advanced practices, and operating efficiencies to make farm operations stronger, faster and more profitable.
“It is a very exciting time for the ag industry. Changes in technology, equipment and agronomic practices create a real need for the industry to share ideas and discuss what is on the horizon,” says Scott Mortimer, Group Publisher, Successful Farming. “We are proud to support AG CONNECT’s effort to create a meeting place showcasing the innovators of production agriculture.”
Successful Farming will again present the on-the-show-floor AG CONNECT Center Stage (formerly known as the Innovations Theater). This popular venue will feature the “tried and true experts” and “blue-sky-thinking innovators” who will be featured in the 2013 show’s interactive Masters & Mavericks program. The Center Stage will offer predictions, advice and opinions from ag industry leaders as well as a presentation of emerging technologies and trends.
Successful Farming will also present a new Family Business program offering two to three sessions each show day as part of AG CONNECT’s educational programming. Topics in this series will range from health and wellness to family business and entrepreneurship.
“Successful Farming’s support as a Top Level Sponsor of AG CONNECT since the inaugural show in 2010 and its expanded role in the 2013 event helps us offer a broader array than ever before of top-level education and networking designed to meet the needs of today’s busy farmers and ranchers; Successful Farming and Meredith Corporation have impressive editorial strength and we are very glad that they will be so active in sharing that expertise with attendees at AG CONNECT 2013,” stated Sara Truesdale Mooney, AG CONNECT Show Director.
Advance registration for AG CONNECT show badges and Family Business program tickets will be available at www.agconnect.com starting September 2012. For more information on AG CONNECT Expo & Summit 2013 and the Masters & Mavericks program, go to www.agconnect.com.
