For the convenience of AEM members, a new way to process annual membership renewals has now been incorporated into the AEM Database Update (ADU) system. The safe, secure ADU system can automatically calculate annual dues for members and prepopulate a renewal summary form to be signed and submitted with payment.
AEM membership renewal notices for 2013 have already been sent to Official Company Representatives (OCRs) and designated renewal contacts at each member company. Renewals are due December 31, 2012.
The ADU system was launched in April 2012 to give OCRs the ability to change or correct contact information for their organizations. The system also allows OCRs to update product information that is published in the AEM Product Locator on the AEM website.
“Many OCRs have already used the ADU system to update their staff and product information, and processed their 2013 membership renewals,” said Paul Malek, AEM membership director. “We encourage all OCRs and renewal contacts to take advantage of the system’s capabilities to process their membership renewals this year.”
Malek also reminded members about the new annual dues certification procedure approved by the AEM Board of Directors at its November meeting. The dues certification requires a signature on the renewal summary form from a corporate officer, CFO or CPA certifying that the dues amount accurately reflects the company’s applicable sales of qualifying products.
To access the ADU system, go to https://adu.aem.org. A user name and password has been provided to OCRs and renewal contacts.
If you have questions about your membership renewal or using the ADU system, contact AEM’s Paul Malek (firstname.lastname@example.org, tel: 414-298-4153).
