Tier 4
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set emission standards for diesel engines used in most construction, agricultural and industrial equipment. AEM provides links to regulations, articles and other documents related to Tier 4.
Small Spark Ignition Engines
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated stringent new exhaust and evaporative emission regulations for industrial/construction, agricultural and other equipment powered by spark-ignition engines in the power band less than 19 kW (25 HP). AEM provides links to regulations, articles and other documents of interest related to small spark ignition engines.
Cal ARB In-Use Off Road
The California Air Resources Board (Cal ARB) is a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency, an organization that reports directly to the Governor's Office in the Executive Branch of California State Government. On July 26, 2007, the Air Resources Board (ARB) adopted the In-Use Off-Road Regulation to reduce diesel particulate matter (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions from existing off-road heavy-duty diesel vehicles in California. AEM provides links to regulations, articles and other documents of interest related to Cal ARB.
REACH
The European Union directive for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances (REACH) became effective June 1, 2007. The European Parliament has called REACH "... one of the most complex texts in the history of the EU." Industry's deadlines for submitting information extend over 11 years; however, near-term efforts are needed to apply the internal resources and information exchange necessary to effectively meet the requirements. AEM provides links to regulations, articles and other documents of interest related to REACH.

The OECD Tractor Test Codes are uniform, worldwide test procedures for agricultural tractors for the measurement of performance, operator protection (ROPS) and noise levels.
