Technical
AEM works closely with our members to navigate the many product-specific and broad-based technical, regulatory and safety issues through our technical groups, foundations and educational programs.
AEF (Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation)
The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) assists AEM members as they develop the hardware and electronic communication protocols to allow—and confirm—reliable communications between several related machines or implements, even though they are made by different manufacturers.
Technical Groups
AEM’s Technical Groups concentrate their efforts on specific issues that could potentially have an impact on multiple industry sectors. By providing support to these member-driven technical groups, AEM helps promote safe work environments and reasonable regulatory requirements.
Acronym Database
AEM maintains a database of common industry acronyms as a service to our members. The world of standards and regulations is complicated by a language all its own, including a large number of acronyms. This database includes a search engine to quickly locate a definition.
Best Practice Guidance Bulletins
AEM periodically develops Best Practice Guidance Bulletins based on topics that support relevant important issues where a consensus membership message needs to be conveyed. The information contained in these bulletins are provided to the general public for general awareness and are supported by AEM member companies and sometimes also by partner supporting organizations or alliances.
