| Industrial and Agricultural Mower Safety Practices Program |

The Industrial and Agricultural Mower Safety Practices Program was developed by members of AEM's Industrial/Agricultural Mower Manufacturers Council (IAMMC) with the support of the FEMA Rotary Cutter Council to provide employers with tools to improve and evaluate their employees' knowledge of safe operating practices. The program's components include a safety training video (in both DVD and VHS formats) and a guidebook. The broad-based AEM mower safety program targets both industrial applications such as roadside mowing with rotary cutters as well as agricultural disc mowing. Rounding out the package are copies of the applicable AEM Safety Manuals for both the tractor and the mower.
The 22-minute training video focuses on basic rules to help ensure the safety of not only the operator but also other persons that may be in the vicinity, especially in the case of roadside mowing. Areas covered include equipment start up, operation, maintenance and shut down. The complementary 12-page guidebook highlights key messages in the video with a Q and A format, and employers can use the guidebook contents for testing employee comprehension. | Rough Terrain Forklift Training Program |

The Safety Training for Operators of Rough Terrain Forklifts Program was developed by members of the Manufacturers of Rough Terrain Forklifts Council (MRTFC). It is specifically designed for operators of variable reach (telescopic), vertical mast and truck mounted rough terrain forklifts.
The materials were designed to assist equipment owners and others in complying with the OSHA forklift operator training requirements, which mandate that all operators be trained by December 1, 1999.
This program features a comprehensive operator training kit which includes: an instructor's guide, instructor's resource guide, classroom visual aids, evaluation tests, evaluation log book, five (5) sets of student materials (operator's workbooks, certificates and identification cards) and an AEM Rough Terrain Forklift Safety Manual.
