EU Standards and CE Marking
|

|
Prior to exporting, U.S. manufacturers have to consider certification for the EU market. Certification is about conformity assessment in order to declare compliance with EU regulatory requirements. For the majority of exported products, compliance is visibly testified by the use of CE marking. Use of standards is part of the process. |

AEM Student Lunch and Awards

|
AEM will be hosting the 72nd student lunch and awards on Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, Reno, Nevada. The AEM Awards are made in recognition of outstanding initiative and accomplishment in ASABE Student Branch activities.
For this competition the student engineering branches are divided into two groups based on size of membership -- Group A comprising the larger branches, Group B the smaller branches and the Mechanization Branches. AEM will donate: in each category - first place $500 and an AEM award, second and third place will receive recognition awards.
