COVID-19 Precautions

AEM is committed to hosting the top networking and education event for our industry, where our members come together to learn to leverage the latest technologies for their competitive advantage and to prepare for future challenges and opportunities.

This year we are offering two options for participation in the Annual Conference: an in-person option at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California and a virtual option.

For the in-person option, our top priority is the health and safety of all participants. We are working closely with the Meritage Resort & Spa to ensure all state and federal guidelines will be followed during the conference. Please click here to see more information about the Resort’s onsite COVID health and safety measures. AEM is working diligently to provide an agenda and options that offer ample space between colleagues while including a safe environment to network and learn from and interact with peers.

We will provide detailed information related to onsite health and safety guidelines to all participants prior to the event. If you have questions, please reach out to Helen Horner at

Cancellation Policy

We recognize traveling to and attending in-person events isn’t an easy decision to make at this time due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. That is why we are offering a no-fee cancellation policy for the in-person option to attend through 5:00 PM CST on September 1, 2020. After September 1, those who cancel their participation in the in-person event will be converted to the virtual option and the difference in fees will be refunded. For those who wish to cancel their in-person participation altogether after September 1, there will be a $175 cancellation fee for AEM Members and non-members and a $50 cancellation fee for spouse/guests. For those who register to attend the conference virtually, a no-fee cancellation can be made through September 1, and a cancellation fee of $175 will be applied for cancellations after September 1.

No refunds for registrations or optional activities will be allowed after Friday, October 30, 2020.

Any questions or cancellation requests must be submitted via email to Carla Mann at
