Reed AwardsAEM’s Behind Every Product video series took home the top prize during the 2020 Reed Awards. The video series won best online video for a national public affairs campaign.

AEM debuted three documentary-style videos in July 2019 that tell the stories of Becky, Paul and Ray, and how decisions made in Washington impact their lives and communities.

“This is a tremendous honor and reflects the caliber of work being done by AEM’s Advocacy Team on behalf of the association’s more than 1,000 member companies,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM senior vice president, government and industry relations. “The Behind Every Product video series wouldn’t have been possible without our member companies, including Case IH North America, Kuhn North America, and Wacker Neuson. Helping to tell the story of our industry is one of the most important ways we can show elected officials how decisions made in Washington impact the lives of Americans in communities across the country.”

These videos are part of an ongoing series that highlights the 1.3 million men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry and how they contribute to the U.S. economy. All three videos were shot on location across Wisconsin at AEM member companies Case IH North America (Racine), Kuhn North America, Inc. (Brodhead), and Wacker Neuson (Menomonee Falls).

The Reed Awards, presented by Campaigns & Elections, are the most exacting awards in political campaigns, grassroots and advocacy. Named after the entrepreneur, inventor, and publisher Stanley Foster Reed, they reward excellence in political campaigning, campaign management, political consulting, and political design. Selected from those few entrants whose exceptional work received the coveted Finalist status, the winners of Reed Awards are professionals whose work stands out as the very best in the world.
