Dale M. Szuminski

Dale M. Szuminski accepted the position of Managing Director for Alo North America in November 2015. In 2016 he was named President. Alo is a global company and the market leader in the premium loader and attachment segment of agricultural markets. Responsibilities include all operations in North America. The company headquarters are located in Umea, Sweden and the sales offices for Alo North America are in Elgin, Illinois.

From 2008 to November 2015, Dale was President of Hardi International – North American Operations, Davenport, Iowa. Hardi is an international manufacturing company producing a full line of agricultural products. In this position, Dale was responsible for Hardi's subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada, profit and loss, and all selling efforts including a distribution base of 300 dealers.

From 2004 to 2008, Dale was a managing partner with Epic Doors LP, a manufacturer of steel building components for the construction industry located in Anaheim, California. At Epic Doors, Dale established and implemented the company's business plan and secured financing for the initial startup. He directed new product development, designing and creating a complete product line.

Prior to this, Dale was president of Security Technologies, a Provo, Utah, based manufacturing company with multiple product lines including residential security safes, vault doors and commercial building components. Between 2000 and 2004, Security Technologies' total revenues increased by $33 million, including $23 million in acquisitions and the remainder from new distribution networks.

Dale also was general manager for York International Airside Products Refrigeration Group (1994-2000) which produces a full line of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration products serving the cold storage food and beverage industry, and plant manager for Evapco, Inc. (1988-1994), a manufacturer of cooling towers for the residential and commercial HVAC markets.

Other positions include manufacturing manager and sales application engineer for IMMECO, Inc., senior planner for Rockford Dynatorq, Inc., and assistant to VP of manufacturing & assistant product manager for Roper Whitney, Inc.

Dale earned a BS in career occupations from Lumpkin College of Business, Eastern Illinois University and an AS in business management from Rock Valley College. He holds certifications in management fundamentals and management supervision. He is also well versed in six sigma and lean manufacturing methodology.

Since 2011, Dale has served on the AG Sector Board of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
