Rick Johnson

Rick Johnson was born and raised in Perry, Oklahoma. Graduating from Perry High School in 1975, Johnson completed his education at the University of Oklahoma in 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983.

Johnson began his employment with Charles Machine Works in 1987, accepting the position of Credit Manager. In 1998 he was named Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer, and in 2011 was named Chief Operating Officer. In 2015 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Charles Machine Works, Johnson worked 10 years in the public accounting industry, including five years with his own local CPA firm.

Johnson has been very active in the Perry community. He is a past member of the Perry Public School Board of Education and a charter member and founder of the Perry Education Foundation. He previously served on the Board of Directors for First Bank & Trust Company, Perry, Oklahoma.

He also serves on various committees of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, including the Finance Committee, and is Chair of the ICUEE Management Committee. He previously served on the Infrastructure Vision 2050 Task Force and was the ICUEE 2017 Vice Chair.
