Two AEM member companies took advantage of the Congress’ August district work period by hosting their representatives for I Make America events.
Rep. Steve Stivers visited CW Machine Worx in Carroll, Ohio on August 4 for the company’s first IMA event. Stivers met with company owner Brad Hutchison for a tour of the company’s manufacturing division before taking questions from employees.
"Infrastructure projects are important for jobs and the economy in our communities, and businesses like CW Machine Worx are critical to advancing these projects,” Stivers said. “I want to thank CW Machine Worx for showing me around, and helping me learn more about their company and the challenges they face."
And on August 9, Congressman Adam Kinzinger visited Rhino Ag in Gibson City, Illinois for an I Make America event there. Kinzinger, a longtime friend to AEM who has participated in several prior IMA events at AEM member companies, toured manufacturing facilities and met with employees and executives at the company.
"I’m proud to be with Rhino Ag today, touring the facility and taking part in the ‘I Make America’ effort to showcase the impressive impact Rhino Ag has on our economy and job creation for Illinois’s 16th congressional district,” Kinzinger said. “Thank you for inviting me here today, and for all the great work you do for our community.”
