The construction industry had quite a year in 2017. From starting the year with CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, to supporting the aftermath of number of natural disasters, to seeing an unprecedented boost in employment in the construction sector, it's been an eventful 12 months.
Ken Simonson, chief economist for the Associated General Contractors of America, recently appeared on CONEXPO-CON/AGG Radio to discuss the construction market outlook for 2018, and he also outlined a number of trends related to labor availability, natural disasters, infrastructure funding, and emerging technologies.
