To assist the marketing efforts of global equipment manufacturers, the Intercontinental Statistics Committee (ISC) will start reporting Minimal and Zero tail swing attributes for crawler excavators in 2015.

The ISC comprises four industry associations, including AEM (North America), CECE (Europe), CEMA (Japan), and KOCEMA (South Korea). The ISC met recently in Antwerp, Belgium.

The ISC also agreed to begin reporting Level 2 segmentation for Telehandlers in 2015. Level 2 segmentation provides program participants with information on the type of industry in which the equipment is used.

In addition, AEM presented work it had done to gather current photos (with company approval) and product definitions for all products reported worldwide. The photos and definitions will be added to the ISC Policy & Procedures Manual.
