AEM kicked off a new advertising campaign on Monday urging President Trump and leaders in Congress to make infrastructure their first legislative priority in 2017.

The campaign features video and display ads targeted at members of the Trump administration, lawmakers on Capitol Hill and other industry partners in Washington, D.C. The ads direct users to the new I Make America website, which was also formally launched on Monday, to send letters urging swift action on infrastructure.

Infrastructure has figured strongly into Trump’s new administration, following through on comments he made often during the 2016 campaign.

“We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation,” Trump said in his inaugural address.

Trump announced steps last week to streamline environmental review processes for infrastructure projects as Senate Democrats introduced their own infrastructure plan matching the $1 trillion price tag of which Trump had previously spoken.
