Mexican airport operator OMA's net profit jumped 60.9% to 446mn pesos (US$24mn) in the second quarter.
According to the firm's unaudited results, revenue grew 21% year-on-year to 1.33bn pesos, with aeronautical and non-aeronautical income up 27% and 24.5%, respectively.
Adjusted Ebitda was up 36.8% at 808mn pesos for the quarter.
The number of total passengers increased 8.7% to 4.5mn during the quarter. Domestic traffic increased 10.4%, while international traffic decreased 2.3% year-on-year.
OMA saw domestic passenger traffic grow at 10 of its 13 airports. Its busiest, Monterrey, reported a 7.6% increase, the company said.
