KipThe Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has promoted Kip Eideberg to Senior Vice President, Government & Industry Relations and head of AEM’s office in Washington, D.C.

Eideberg has served as the interim head following the retirement of Nick Yaksich in 2018.

During the six months that Eideberg has served as interim head, the association has waged aggressive advocacy campaigns on trade and infrastructure, bolstered the I Make America national grassroots campaign, strengthened its advocacy efforts in Canada, secured a string of legislative wins in states across the country, and expanded its political operations.

“I am very pleased with the direction of our advocacy efforts under Kip’s leadership,” said Dennis Slater, president of AEM. “Kip has significantly expanded AEM’s influence in Washington, and I am confident that under his leadership the Advocacy Team will continue to defend and advance our industry’s policy priorities.”

Eideberg originally joined AEM as its Vice President, Public Affairs & Advocacy in 2016.
