I Make America’s “Behind Every Product” campaign took top honors as the best grassroots advocacy advertising campaign at the 2018 Reed Awards, announced this week.

AEM won the prize at the Reed Awards for the second straight year, after winning honors for Best Web Video at the 2017 awards.

I Make America produced two videos highlighting the equipment manufacturing industry’s economic impact and the industry’s support for tax reform last year. The Reed Award recognizes the advertising campaign waged by AEM to showcase these videos in Washington, D.C., where they received over half a million views on multiple platforms. The Reed Awards are conferred by Campaign & Elections magazine and honor “excellence in political campaigning, campaign management, political consulting and political design.” The winners are selected by a panel of peer judges.

This is the second year in a row that AEM has won a Reed Award. Last year, the I Make America campaign was recognized for its work during the 2016 presidential election campaign.
